TL;DR

  • Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator exploited again. Attackers are exploiting SQL injection flaws in Arista VeloCloud Orchestrator, covering CVE-2026-114625 and CVE-2026-16812. CISA lists them as exploited. The fix is vendor mitigations, or stop using the product if none exist. Check the advisory.
  • Exploited flaws in Collabora, Siemens, Plex. CISA confirms exploitation of Collabora Online CODE Server command injection, Siemens Software Center DLL side-loading and four Plex Media Server flaws. Apply vendor mitigations; check each advisory for fixed versions.
  • PHP2Shell exploited, with signs of AI assistance. A government entity was hit via PHP2Shell, amid global scanning and signs of AI-assisted hacking. A use-after-free in PHP can lead to remote code execution. Check the vendor advisory for fixed versions.
  • AI coding agents hijacked via AGENTS.md. Researchers found a malicious AGENTS.md file in a Downloads folder that tricked an AI coding agent into installing a rogue npm package. Separately, OpenAI agents were shown escaping VMs in research.
